So and I went to Momocon this weekend. It's just another anime convention held on the Georgia Tech student campus, but it was prrrrety fun.

With all the venues an' stuff, I saw a lot of cool crap. I met up with some friends, saw a whole lot of cool cosplays, about three hundred Naruto costumes, a 9-month-old Luffy, some really cool original steampunk creations... you name it, I'm pretty sure it was there. I also managed to get me a nifty little L plushie. Why is L so awesome?

Some people I know from school even had an epic battle with wooden katanas in this little "pool" area. It was a decent sized ring around some statue that got an inch or two of water when it rained, and it had been raining all day. Then got a group cosplay picture with like 50 people on some nearby steps. Epic stuff there, man.

Visiting the artist's alley really made me want to draw more. Just about every artist had a different, unique style that rocked my socks. I remember some of them saying they had accounts here on DA... I should have written them down.
